The problem

Chocolate advent calendars are finished by breakfast and leave nothing behind.

Why it makes a great gift

This advent calendar swaps chocolate for collectable squishies: behind each of the 24 numbered doors is a small, soft dumpling with a cute face and a festive outfit, from a reindeer to a snowman.

Each one fits in the palm of a hand, squishes down and slowly reforms. By Christmas Eve there is a whole line-up of 24 little friends for the bedroom shelf, the school bag or the office desk.

Perfect for…

Your child loves squishies and all things kawaii.

You want an advent calendar without sweets.

A teenager or a colleague who keeps fidget toys on their desk.

You need a fun gift to hand over at the end of November.

01

Twenty-four little friends by Christmas Eve

Open the doors one by one and the collection grows every day: dumplings in Santa hats, with antlers, scarves and rosy cheeks.

There are 10 designs across the 24 doors, so some come back as twins, perfect for sharing with a brother, a sister or a friend.

02

Soft, squishy and small enough for any hand

Each dumpling is made of soft foam that squishes in the hand and slowly comes back to shape.

They fit in the palm of a child's hand, which makes them easy to carry in a pocket, line up on a windowsill or hide in a stocking.

03

Just as popular on a grown-up's desk

A small dumpling next to the keyboard gives the fingers something to squeeze between two emails.

That is why this calendar works for teenagers and adults too: an office Secret Santa or a December treat for a friend.

Frequently asked questions

How many squishies are inside?

24, one behind each numbered door. There are 10 different designs, so some of them appear more than once.

How big is it?

The box measures 28 x 18 x 4.2 cm and weighs about 430 g, so it is flat and easy to post or tuck under the tree. Each squishy fits in the palm of a hand.

What age is it for?

It is loved by children, teenagers and adults alike. As with any small toy, keep the squishies away from very young children who might put them in their mouth.

When should I give it?

Give it before 1 December so the countdown can start on the first day: one door a day until Christmas Eve.

How long will delivery take?

Standard UK delivery is free and takes 7–9 working days, with tracking. Need it sooner? Choose Priority delivery (5–7 working days) for £2.90 at checkout. Buying for Christmas? Order by Tuesday 15 December to receive it in time.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days after delivery to return the item unused and in its original packaging for a refund. Just email help@stockingjoy.com with your order number and we'll guide you through the return.
