The problem

Wanting a relaxing Christmas activity that ends with something lovely, not another thing to tidy away.

Why it makes a great gift

This kit turns a quiet evening into a keepsake. Pick up each shaped gem or pearl bead with the pen and wax pad and press it onto its matching printed symbol, section by section, until the festive picture shimmers.

When it is finished, clip on the metal chain and hang it on the tree, in a window or by the fireplace. The back has a neat printed finish, so it looks tidy from every angle, and it can come out again every December.

Perfect for…

She loves crafts, puzzles or a cosy evening project.

You want a festive activity to share with a grandparent or an older child.

You need a Secret Santa gift that feels thoughtful and handmade.

You are after a decoration with more meaning than a shop-bought bauble.

01

A keepsake you make yourself

Once every gem is in place, attach the metal hanging chain and the finished plaque is ready to hang on the tree, in a window, on a wall or above the fireplace.

Because it is made by hand, it carries the memory of the evenings spent making it, and it can be brought out again each December alongside the family's favourite decorations.

02

Sparkle that catches the fairy lights

The design is built from shaped diamond gems, faceted rhinestones and pearl-effect beads, which give a raised, textured finish that glints under fairy lights or a lamp.

The double-sided acrylic board has a raised front and a plain printed back, and its adhesive layer holds every gem in place as you work through the picture.

03

Choose a design, or collect all six

Pick from 6 festive designs: Santa, Christmas Tree, Holiday Wreath, Christmas Stocking, Reindeer and Snowman, or take the set of all 6 for a whole season of crafting.

The small 15 cm size makes a lovely stocking filler and a delicate tree decoration, while the large 25 cm size makes more of a statement on a wall or mantelpiece.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. The board has a printed symbol guide, so you simply match each gem or pearl bead to its symbol and press it into place. No previous craft experience is needed.

What is included in the kit?

Each kit has 1 double-sided plaque board, 1 detachable metal hanging chain, 1 placement pen, 1 sorting tray, 1 wax pad, a pack of shaped diamond gems and matching pearl beads. Nothing else to buy.

Which size should I choose?

The small plaque is 15 cm across, ideal for the tree or as a stocking filler. The large plaque is 25 cm across, better for a wall, window or mantelpiece. Sizes are measured by hand, so allow for slight variations.

Will the gems stay on once it is finished?

The board has an adhesive layer that holds the gems firmly. If you plan to store it for long periods, the seller suggests adding a thin coat of clear sealant spray once it is complete.

How long will delivery take?

Standard UK delivery is free and takes 7–9 working days, with tracking. Need it sooner? Choose Priority delivery (5–7 working days) for £2.90 at checkout. Buying for Christmas? Order by Tuesday 15 December to receive it in time.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days after delivery to return the item unused and in its original packaging for a refund. Just email help@stockingjoy.com with your order number and we'll guide you through the return.
