The problem

Golfers who never tee the ball at the same height twice, and break plastic tees.

Why it makes a great gift

Castle tees take the guesswork out of teeing up. The stepped head sets the ball at the same height every time, and each height has its own colour marking: green 25 mm, red 32 mm, blue 39 mm, yellow 45 mm, pink 59 mm or orange 70 mm, plus black 70 mm straight tees.

They are made from 100% Moso bamboo with biodegradable ink, with only the colour printed. Bamboo is naturally strong and flexible, which means fewer snapped tees.

Perfect for…

You are buying for a golfer who has everything.

They like their tee height consistent from one drive to the next.

They would rather use bamboo than plastic on the course.

You need a small Secret Santa gift for a golf fan at work.

01

One colour for each height

Each box holds 20 tees of the same height, marked with its colour: here the blue 39 mm tees.

In the bag, a quick look at the colour is enough to pick the right tee, without measuring anything or guessing how deep to push it in.

02

Natural bamboo, minimal ink

Only the colour band is printed, with biodegradable ink; the rest of the tee keeps the natural, smooth bamboo finish, as on these red 32 mm tees.

Bamboo flexes rather than splintering like hardwood, so the tees snap less often.

03

A golfer's Christmas stocking filler

A box of tees is small, light and always useful: it slips into a stocking next to a sleeve of balls or a new glove.

Not sure of their usual height? The starter pack gathers all 7 types, 20 of each, so they can test them all in spring.
