The problem

Finding a stocking surprise that is small, cheap to share between children and still feels a little magical.

Why it makes a great gift

These mini turtles turn bedtime into a little show: they absorb daylight, then glow in the dark when the lights go off, with no batteries and no switch.

The set holds 47 resin turtles in mixed colours, each about 2.23 cm long. Children line them up on a shelf, hide them in a plant pot, build an ocean world with them, or share them out with brothers, sisters and friends on Christmas morning.

Perfect for…

You have a child who loves tiny collectables and miniature worlds.

You want a stocking surprise with a bit of wonder when the lights go off.

You are filling several stockings and want something to share out.

You like a small decoration for a desk, a car or a plant pot.

01

A little glow when the lights go off

Leave the turtles in the daylight and they store it up: once the room is dark, they glow softly in their bright colours.

No batteries, no cable and no switch, so they can sit on a bedside table or a shelf and light up a little at bedtime.

02

A handful of colours to share

The set holds 47 turtles in mixed colours, assorted at random: pink, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple and more.

That is plenty to share between brothers and sisters, to hide around the house for a game, or to hand out at a party.

03

Small enough to go anywhere

Each turtle is about 2.23 cm long and 1.4 cm wide. Dotted around a plant pot, on a mossy log in a miniature garden, or along the edge of a shelf, they add a cheerful touch.

Tipped out of a stocking, they make a surprise that keeps on giving for weeks.
