The problem

Dark winter mornings and evenings make children and dog walkers hard to see on the way home.

Why it makes a great gift

This small light makes a bag easier to see after dark: loop the silicone strap round a backpack, school bag or jacket, press the button and it glows.

The round light head is about 3 cm across and only 1.3 cm thick, so it adds almost no weight, while the strap is about 20 cm long to fit round thick handles. It runs on a button cell battery, which is included. Choose pink, orange, blue or green.

Perfect for…

Your child walks to school or the bus stop in the dark.

You run, cycle or walk the dog on winter evenings.

You want a useful little gift that fits in a stocking.

You like to find your bag quickly in a dark car or tent.

01

Glows on the bag, all the way home

Hang it on a backpack strap and switch it on before leaving: the coloured glow makes the bag easier to spot on a dark pavement.

It is a simple extra for school runs, evening walks and winter camping, and it takes seconds to put on or take off.

02

Soft silicone, long strap

The light is wrapped in soft silicone, with a strap of about 20 cm that loops round a bag handle, a zip pull or a pram.

The light head is about 3 cm across and 1.3 cm thick, so it stays light and discreet when switched off.

03

Four colours to choose from

Pick pink, orange, blue or green, one for each child so nobody mixes up their bags.

Each light runs on a button cell battery, supplied with it, and switches on with the round button on the front: easy enough for children to manage themselves.
